With gestational diabetes, I had to be super careful about everything, including even 'healthy' drinks. Tea, especially if it's sugary or very strong, should be consumed in moderation. Herbal teas can be an alternative, but even then, check with your doctor to make sure there are no contraindications. Caffeine intake needs to be monitored closely.
