Someone gifted me vitamin E capsules for skin and hair, im in my 2nd trimester. Bit confused whether to start them ya not without asking gynac. Anyone took these during pregnancy?
Look, honestly, dont self-medicate with vitamin E. Our regular prenatal tablets already have enough of it, so extra doses might not even be needed. Just ask your gynac first before popping any extra pills.
Arre, why do you want to swallow extra pills when you can eat badam and avocados instead? Jokes apart, pls dont start vitamin E without asking your doctor. Let them decide if u actually need it!
Manage two babies first, then you won't even have time to remember to take extra vitamins! Seriously though, dont take vitamin E without consulting your gynac. High doses can cause issues and pregnancy already has enough drama.
I just delivered three months back and had the exact same question. My doc told me that too much vitamin e is actually not good in pregnancy and my regular multivitamin already had enough. Pls check your prescription once or message your gynac.
I know how every small thing feels so important and scary right now dear. When I was going through my IVF cycle, my doctor specifically told me not to take extra vitamin E on my own as high doses can be tricky. Please do check with your clinic before taking anything.
Relax, it is totally normal to have these doubts. But with vitamins, especially vitamin E, it is always safer to let your gynac decide the dose. Just give her a quick call tomorrow, ok? Take care of yourself.
