Normal delivery thi and now its 7 months done. I missed doing the belly binding earlier in those initial weeks. Is it too late to start tying now or still some use hai?
Haan na, you can try it now also but don't expect magic results after 7 months. It is good for back posture though, so go ahead if it feels comfortable.
I'm only in my second trimester now and already worrying about how my tummy will look postpartum! Is it really hard to get back in shape if we don't tie it early?
Yes, you can definitely wear a belt or tie it, but at 7 months, working on your core muscles through normal exercises works better. I did light yoga after my normal delivery and it helped more than the belt.
My MIL told me tummy tying is most effective in the first 40 days, but you can still do it now for lower back support. Just use a soft cotton cloth and don't make it uncomfortable.
I asked my gynac about this at my 6-month checkup. She said tying the tummy now only gives external support, it won't actually reduce fat or shrink the uterus anymore. She advised pelvic floor exercises instead.
Oh, I was also thinking about doing this around 8 months but got scared if it would press my organs too much. I think it's safe but maybe don't tie it too tight? Let's see what others say, I'm anxious too.
