I have to go office daily and Activa is the only option I have. First trimester chal raha hai, roads are bumpy and im a little scared about the jerks. Anyone else who rode scooty during pregnancy?
Actually, I used to crave golgappe so much and begged my husband to take me on our Activa, but he strictly said no! Honestly, the bumpy roads are just too risky. Better to order your favorite food at home and relax.
Since I had PCOS, my pregnancy felt so precious and I was very cautious about everything. I completely avoided riding or sitting on a scooty because of the bumpy roads and risk of falling. It's better not to take any chances, dear.
Pls check with your doctor first, especially if u have any conditions like thyroid which already makes u feel tired. Those sudden jerks and potholes are not safe for the baby. Make sure to get regular thyroid checkups too during these months!
Hey, don't stress too much, but honestly try to avoid Activa as much as possible. Indian roads have too many unexpected potholes and sudden speed breakers which are not good. Try taking an auto or cab instead for short trips!
Directly speaking, please don't risk it on a two-wheeler, especially in city traffic. Potholes are everywhere and sudden braking can cause serious issues. Just book a cab or take a metro, it is way more comfortable and safe.
Riding a scooty is really not recommended because of balance issues and the danger of falling. If you want to stay active, light walking is a much better choice, which also helps control sugar levels if u have gestational diabetes like I did.
Honestly, with the constant nausea and vomiting I had, even sitting in a car was tough, let alone an Activa! The vibrations and smell of pollution can make morning sickness so much worse. Please avoid it if you're already feeling weak.
I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and also wondering about this! My MIL strictly told me not to sit on any two-wheelers, but sometimes for quick vegetable shopping, it feels so tempting. Are you guys completely avoiding it?
