I get chest tightness whenever a cold hits and i normally use my inhaler. Now that im pregnant (2nd trimester) i got scared to use it without asking. anyone else with asthma kind of thing during pregnancy? what did ur gynac say.
Beta for a simple cold, garam paani ki bhaap and rest helped us in our time. For any medicine wala inhaler, doctor se hi poochna. Apne aap kuch mat lo.
If you already use an inhaler for asthma, dont stop it without asking, my doctor said controlling breathing is important for baby too. But please dont start a new inhaler on your own. Always run it by your gynac or physician first.
Many inhalers are considered safe and doctors do continue them in pregnancy when needed. But a steam inhaler for a blocked nose is different from a medical inhaler, so be clear which one you mean. Either way, confirm with your doctor.
