My mother-in-law told me to limit my phone and internet use during pregnancy, saying it's not good for the baby. Is it really something to worry about? I use my phone for work and to stay connected.
Chill yaar, internet is absolutely fine to use! Just don't become a self-gynac by searching every small pain. Use it to shop for cute baby stuff and don't stress too much.
I totally understand how tempting it is to google every single symptom. But sweetheart, it only causes unnecessary worry during this beautiful phase, so try to read positive things instead.
My MIL constantly tells me to keep the phone away because of radiation, haha! I still use it secretly but try to limit screen time just to keep peace at home.
I felt so anxious in my first trimester because of random search results. Once I stopped reading medical blogs, I felt so much more peaceful and happy.
I also spend so much time searching for early signs and tips online. It is hard to resist, but I'm trying to limit my screen time so my mind stays calm and positive.
Honestly, I googled everything during my 9 months and regretted it. Half the information online is just scary and fake, so it's much better to just call your gynac if you have doubts.
Internet is okay for entertainment, but please don't follow random diet charts online. For my GD, my doctor gave me a personalized diet plan which was much safer than google tips.
Please be very careful about what you search online. I used to get so triggered and anxious reading bad stories after my loss, sometimes it is better to just trust your doctor and stay off forums.
