Can i use medicare anti lice shampoo during pregnancy?
Got lice from my daughter and its driving me mad, itching all day. Im in 2nd trimester and scared to put any medicated shampoo on my scalp. Has anyone used this kind during pregnancy, is it safe?
Arre, directly mat use karna please. Chemical waale shampoos pregnancy mein avoid hi karne chahiye na. Gynac se pooch lo ek baar, ya fir mechanical wet combing try karo, woh zyada safe hai.
My mother-in-law suggested using neem paste and a fine comb for lice, which is very safe. But if you want to use Medicare shampoo, please ask your doctor first. In our family, we always double-check with the gynac before using chemical products.
A lot of these medicated anti-lice shampoos have chemicals that can absorb through the scalp. It's safer to avoid self-treating during pregnancy. Just give a quick call to your gynac before using any such shampoo, okay?
Oh god, lice during pregnancy is the absolute worst combination, as if the back pain wasn't enough! Honestly, don't use any chemical shampoos without asking your doctor first. I'd just sit with a fine-tooth comb and make my husband do the hard work, haha.
That's a good question actually, never thought about how we'd handle lice during pregnancy. I guess most chemical shampoos are restricted. Did your doctor suggest any safe pregnancy-friendly alternatives?
I actually had this issue in my first trimester and I felt so dirty and miserable. I was about to buy an over-the-counter shampoo but my doctor strictly told me to avoid chemical treatments. I felt much better after using natural neem oil and combing regularly.
