Got a mild fever and headache and im only 5 weeks along. Scared to pop anything this early without asking. Planning to call my doc tomorrow but wanted to know what u all did for fever in early pregnancy?
Paracetamol is usually the one painkiller doctors consider safer in pregnancy, but still take it only when your gynac okays it and in the right dose. My doctor allowed it for fever and headache when needed. Dont mix it with other tablets on your own though.
It's generally the go to safe one, but always confirm dose and frequency with your doctor first. I took it for a bad headache once after my gynac said okay. Just dont keep popping it casually na.
I only took it after my doctor specifically told me it was fine and how much. I never decide medicines myself in pregnancy. Quick call to your gynac and you'll have the right answer.
