Im not pregnant but i have a lot of lower back pain and saw these maternity belts online. Just wondering can normal log use it for support also or its only for pregnancy? thoda curious.
Pregnancy belts have a curved shape to hold the belly, so it might not fit comfortably if you aren't pregnant. A regular back brace from the chemist is much better.
If you are experiencing severe back pain, please consult a doctor or a physiotherapist first. It's better not to use supportive belts without knowing the actual reason for pain.
If you are trying to support your lower back, it's safer to buy a proper orthopedic belt. Please consult a doctor to check what is causing the back issue.
I felt like my back needed so much support even after delivery, so I used my maternity belt postpartum. It really helped me sit comfortably while feeding.
