Im 5 months now and shaving has become so difficult with this pet. Was thinking of using veet down there but thoda scared if the chemicals can harm baby. Anyone used hair removal cream during pregnancy?
Honestly i had my delivery just last month and i avoided hair removal creams down there. The skin becomes super sensitive during pregnancy and it can cause bad rashes. Safer to just trim or use a clean razor carefully if u really need to.
When i was pregnant my doctor at Cloudnine strictly told me not to use any chemical creams like Veet in the intimate areas. The hospital staff said even before delivery they will shave it themselves if needed. Better ask your gynac once before doing anything.
Uff i completely understand, juggling office and grooming is a task with a big belly! But hair removal creams have too many chemicals. I just got a simple trim done at home, it is much faster and zero risk of chemical burns.
I am also planning to conceive soon and was reading about this. I think the skin down there gets very sensitive because of extra blood flow. Maybe avoiding such strong chemical creams is better, let's be a little careful.
Listen, do not use Veet or any chemical creams down there right now. Your skin is already very delicate because of the pregnancy hormones, and it can react badly. Just use scissors to trim or ask your husband to help u with a safe shave.
