Can i use veet on my private area during pregnancy?
Im in my second trimester and getting a bit conscious about hygiene down there. Usually i use hair removal cream but not sure if the chemicals are safe near that area now. pls share if u have used it.
I cant really say whats safe for you, but personally I stopped using veet in that area after I got pregnant. It just felt too risky for my skin which was acting up. I went with a trimmer instead.
I felt scared to use any cream there honestly so I just avoided it. The skin felt so sensitive that even normal soap was too much for me. I stuck to scissors carefully and that was enough.
Hair removal creams are generally avoided on sensitive areas in pregnancy because skin reacts more. Patch test or just ask your gynac at the next visit, they will tell you clearly. Better to be sure than itchy and uncomfortable.
Skin gets way more sensitive down there in pregnancy, so creams can sting or give rash. I switched to a trimmer for that area, much safer and no burning. Try a patch test first if you really want to use it.
