Can i wash my hair during pregnancy with nasal congestion?
I have a blocked nose and elders are saying dont wash hair or it will get worse. I feel sticky and uncomfortable, but also dont want cold to increase. Anyone else heard this, na?
When I had nasal congestion during pregnancy, I definitely washed my hair. Just made sure the water wasn't too cold and I dried my hair completely right after. But I can only share my experience, everyone's body is different, so if you're worried, ask your doctor.
I used to overthink everything during pregnancy, so I totally get this! I'd say yes, you can wash your hair, but be extra careful. Maybe sit in a warm, steamy bathroom, use warm water, and dry your hair immediately. Don't take any chances with catching more cold, it's really not worth it during pregnancy.
Oh god, nasal congestion with morning sickness is just the worst combo. Of course you can wash your hair, just be practical. Use warm water, not too hot or cold, and make sure to dry your hair quickly with a hairdryer. Don't let your head stay wet for too long, you don't want to catch more cold.
Oh, that's a common question, I think. I would be a bit hesitant too if I had congestion. Perhaps using warm water and making sure you don't catch more cold would be important? It might be best to ask your gynaecologist just to be completely safe.
