Can i.check pregnancy after 1 month by ultrasound?
Its been around a month since my missed period and home test showed positive. I want to do a scan just to be sure everything is fine. Will the doc be able to see anything this early on ultrasound?
My doc said around a month, an early scan may show the sac but maybe not the heartbeat yet. She usually waits till about 6 to 7 weeks for a clearer picture. So a scan at one month can confirm but the next one shows more detail.
At my hospital they explained clearly that the early scan around this time shows the sac and they schedule the heartbeat scan after. I just asked the staff and they booked it at the right week. Best to confirm timing directly with your hospital.
At one month a scan can show the sac, but it is still early. Both times my gynac confirmed with a urine test first and scanned a bit later. Let your doctor decide the right week.
