I usually clean the bathroom myself but now the strong smell of harpic makes me feel like throwing up. Im in first trimester. Is it safe to use or should i ask someone else to do it?
I'd say keep the harsh chemical cleaning to minimum during pregnancy. If u must, gloves on and good ventilation. Honestly if someone at home can do the toilet cleaning, let them. The strong fumes arent worth the risk.
U can but pls open the window, dont breathe the fumes too long, and wear gloves. I did light cleaning but avoided closing the bathroom door while using harsh cleaners. The strong smell can make u dizzy.
My MIL straight away took over toilet cleaning when I was pregnant, said no need to deal with those strong smells. If u have help at home let them do it na. Otherwise gloves and open window for sure.
Better to hand this one over if u can. If not, open windows fully, wear gloves, dont bend over inhaling it, and step out while it sits. Quick in and out, dont linger in the closed bathroom.
