My amh came out low in the test and the doc mentioned it. Trying to understand if raising the amh level actually helps in getting pregnant or its not connected like that. Anyone here conceived with low amh? curious to know.
With PCOS my AMH was on the higher side, and it still came down to ovulation and timing. So dont fixate on the AMH number alone. A gynac who handles fertility can tell you what it means for you specifically.
AMH is more about your egg reserve count than directly making pregnancy happen. We dealt with this during our journey and the doctor explained it well. Please sit with a fertility specialist, they will read your AMH along with everything else and guide you kindly.
My doc said AMH indicates ovarian reserve, it does not by itself cause or prevent pregnancy. Even with low AMH women conceive, it is one piece of the puzzle. Best to get your full reports interpreted by a specialist rather than focusing on one number.
