My mom takes inderal for her BP and now im pregnant with slightly raised BP also. Doc mentioned it but I wanted to understand if its actually safe to take during pregnancy. Anyone here was given this?
Inderol is a beta-blocker and should never be taken without a proper prescription from your gynac. If you are having high BP or palpitations, visit your clinic right away so they can give you a safe medicine.
When I was admitted, the hospital staff clearly explained that regular medications like Inderol need a doctor's review during pregnancy. Please call your hospital's obstetrician right away and confirm if you should take it.
For strong medications like Inderol, you absolutely must ask your doctor first. Don't take it on your own or follow any online advice. If you have any discomfort or high BP, contact your gynac immediately.
Honestly, please do not take Inderol without asking your doctor first. I kept my blood pressure and anxiety in check with light walking and prenatal yoga, but only after my doctor allowed it. Always check with them.
I can't say if it is safe or not, but I was on a different medication for my blood pressure during pregnancy. My doctor changed my regular meds to pregnancy-safe ones, so please ask your doctor about Inderol.
I had to be extremely careful with all my medications because of my PCOS history. Please do not take Inderol unless your doctor has specifically prescribed it for you during pregnancy.
