Can inj progestrone stop bleeding during pregnancy?
I had some bleeding early on and my doctor mentioned progesterone support. Im a little nervous and just want to know if this actually helps stop it. Will follow whatever gynac says, just looking for reassurance from others who went through this.
I was on progesterone support during my IVF pregnancy and yes my doctor used it for support, but every case is decided by the doctor. Please dont take any injection on your own. If u are bleeding, call your gynac right now, I know how scary that moment is.
I was given progesterone support too because of my history, but it was entirely the doctor's decision and monitoring. I really cant say if it applies to u. Please let your gynac decide, and get the bleeding checked first.
Bleeding in pregnancy always needs immediate doctor attention, dont wait to figure out medicines. My doctor decided everything based on scans and my levels. Please go in or call them straight away rather than self treating.
