Can injection dicyclomine be administered during pregnancy?
Im in my first trimester and had really bad stomach cramps yesterday. Someone at home suggested this injection but i havent taken anything, i want to ask my doctor first. Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with this during pregnancy.
At home my MIL also suggests things for stomach pain sometimes, but for any injection I just tell her doctor will decide. Please dont take it without your gynac's clear yes.
I honestly cant say about this particular injection, I never took it. What I can say is every time I had stomach pain my doctor decided the medicine, not me or the local clinic. Pls ask your own gynac about this one.
Please dont take any injection on your own in pregnancy, especially for cramps or stomach pain. I learnt the hard way to always check first. Call your gynac and ask before anyone gives you this, its really not a DIY thing.
This is one of those things only your treating doctor should decide based on why its needed and how far along you are. Dont let any chemist or random clinic push an injection. Ring your gynac and confirm first, okay.
Stomach cramps in pregnancy can have many reasons, so the medicine has to be chosen carefully by a doctor. Dont go for an injection on advice from anyone except your gynac. Better to call and check today itself.
