Can intake of any food item correct icp during pregnancy?
My doctor mentioned something about ICP, and I'm trying to manage it. I was wondering if there are any specific foods that can help correct ICP during pregnancy, or should I just stick to what the doctor said?
Listen behen, no food can cure ICP. It is a liver issue and needs proper medical treatment. Don't waste time experimenting with home remedies, immediately go to your gynac and get your liver tests done.
I was reading about ICP on my pregnancy tracker app and it clearly says diet alone can't cure it. It's a medical condition where bile acids build up, so you need proper medicine from your gynac. Track your symptoms daily and stay in touch with your doc.
Oh dear, I know how scary it is to read about ICP and worry about what to eat. But please don't stress over diet fixes because ICP strictly needs medical supervision. Call your doctor right away so they can reassure you and start the right treatment.
Having dealt with hormonal issues like PCOS, I know we try to fix things with diet, but ICP is different and quite risky. Please don't rely on food to correct it. It's safer to follow whatever your doctor prescribes for it.
Beta, please don't try any ghar ka nuskha or food items for this. When I was at my mum's place, she always said liver issues in pregnancy are very sensitive. Just talk to your doctor and let them guide you safely.
