Can it happen first period after getting pregnancy?

I got a faint positive on the test but then some bleeding came around my period date and now im totally confused. Can you still get a period after being pregnant? So stressed about this, planning to call my gynac.

Light spotting can happen, but heavy bleeding in pregnancy is never to be ignored. Please call your gynac if there's a proper flow. Better to be checked promptly.

I had spotting and got so confused whether it counted as a period. Did this happen to anyone else early on? My doctor said light spotting can be normal which calmed me.

My doctor explained that true periods stop once you're pregnant, but some women get light spotting early which they mistake for a period. So a real flow is unlikely. If you have actual bleeding while testing positive, please get it checked by your gynac.

I had some light spotting around when my period was due and panicked, thinking I wasnt pregnant. But I was, it was just early spotting. I felt so relieved after the doctor reassured me.
