Can kidney stones in early pregnancy cause miscarriage?
I have a small stone diagnosed before and now im 7 weeks pregnant. Getting some pain in lower back and honestly thoda scared it might affect the baby. Im going to my gynac this week but is anyone been through this?
This is a highly medical question and you should absolutely not take any chances or listen to online advice. Please contact your gynecologist immediately to see what needs to be done. Only your doctor can evaluate your situation and ensure both you and the baby are safe.
While kidney stones themselves don't directly cause a miscarriage, the severe pain or any associated urinary tract infection can sometimes lead to complications if left untreated. It's very important to keep drinking lots of water and check with your gynac immediately to manage it safely.
Please stay positive and don't let fear take over your mind right now. God will keep you and your little baby safe, just take care of your health and drink plenty of fluids. Do consult your doctor immediately to get the right advice and treatment.
My mother always says that drinking coconut water and staying hydrated is very important for any kidney issues, but during pregnancy you have to be extra careful. Please make sure to discuss this with your doctor right away instead of trying any home remedies first.
Having gone through IVF, I know how terrifying any medical worry during early pregnancy can feel. Please take a deep breath, but do call your gynecologist as soon as possible to discuss this. They will know exactly how to manage your pain safely without affecting your precious pregnancy.
