Im only 6 weeks and i had lemon in my water and rasam couple times, now my MIL is saying sour things are not good early on. Got scared after that na. Is there any truth to this or is it just one of those tales?
There's no science behind lemon causing miscarriage. It's actually a good source of vitamin C. If you have any real worry sign, then talk to your gynac, but lemon is not something to fear.
No no, lemon does not cause miscarriage, that's just a myth. I actually had lemon water all through my pregnancy, helped with my nausea. Totally safe in normal amounts.
Lemon was actually my best friend during nausea, smelling it and sipping warm lemon water. It's safe yaar, dont worry. Those food fear myths just add tension we dont need.
Beta in our times also people said many things about sour foods, but nothing happens from a little lemon. It even helps digestion. Just keep everything in moderation.
I know how scary every little thing feels, I've been there. But please be assured, lemon is not the reason for miscarriage. It's a normal food. If you ever have bleeding or cramps, that's when to call your doctor.
