Can lemon water cure hurt hurt during pregnancy home remedies?
I've been having a lot of acidity and heartburn lately, it's so uncomfortable. My nani suggested lemon water, but I'm not sure if it's safe or effective during pregnancy. Any home remedies that actually help with this 'hurt hurt'?
For mild heartburn, warm lemon water with a pinch of black salt works well and is super cheap. But if it's severe chest pain, don't ignore it to save on doctor fees. Getting a quick checkup is better than landing in an emergency with high hospital bills.
Oh god, heartburn used to make me panic so much thinking it’s something else! Lemon water works for some, but I was always scared it would make my acidity worse, so I stuck to cold milk. Please check with your doctor if it feels like severe pressure or pain, just to be safe!
Lemon water is highly alkaline and can neutralise stomach acid for some, though it might trigger reflux in others. For mild heartburn, cold milk or fennel water also helps. However, if you are experiencing actual chest pain, please consult your doctor immediately to rule out anything serious.
I've heard from my aunts that warm lemon water or a little coconut water is very soothing for acidity during pregnancy. It feels so gentle on the stomach. If the discomfort is strong, it might be safer to consult a doctor, though.
I felt so miserable with chest burn during my third trimester, it literally kept me awake all night. Drinking lukewarm lemon water with black salt gave me temporary relief, but mostly eating small, frequent meals was what helped. It’s a tough phase but you will get through it.
