My recent report showed platelets are a bit on the lower side and now im a little worried. Im going to ask my gynac about it at the next visit but till then my mind is just running. Has anyone had low platelets during pregnancy, how did it go?
Low platelets is something to take seriously, mine were watched closely throughout. It can matter especially around delivery. Please dont manage this on ur own, ur gynac should monitor it with regular tests.
My doctor said mild drops in platelets are common in pregnancy and often nothing alarming. But she repeated the count regularly to be safe and planned delivery accordingly. So follow up tests are the key thing here.
Honestly this is purely a doctor zone topic, not for home remedies. Get regular blood tests and follow ur gynac's advice exactly. Dont try to raise it with random foods alone na.
