For mild loose motions, you can have curd rice, banana, or a glass of water with ORS. Home remedies help, but please remember that severe loose motion can cause dehydration which is risky for the baby. If it's continuous or you feel very weak, immediately consult your doctor.
Have faith, dear, everything will be fine. Just keep taking small sips of water or lemon water to keep your body hydrated. If it is severe, please call your doctor to be safe. God bless you and your little baby.
Aww, did you eat something extra spicy or street food because of cravings? I did that and paid the price with loose motions! Make sure you drink lots of coconut water or buttermilk to soothe your stomach, but if it's really bad, definitely call your gynac.
Oh, I had severe loose motions in my second trimester and I felt so terrified that something would happen to my baby, I was literally crying. My doctor told me to immediately drink ORS to stay hydrated. Please don't ignore it, if it doesn't stop in a day, do call your gynac because dehydration is not good.
It can become dangerous if you get dehydrated, and then you might have to be admitted for IV fluids which unnecessarily adds to the hospital bills. Try having ORS or coconut water at home first. But if it doesn't stop, go to the doctor immediately because a timely consultation is cheaper than an emergency hospital stay.
