Im in my 2nd trimester and had really bad loose motions since morning. I have this medicine at home but scared to take anything without asking. Planning to call my doctor, just wanted to know if anyone was prescribed it.
Please dont take any anti diarrhea tablet on your own during pregnancy na. Loose motions in pregnancy should be told to the gynac and they decide. Just call them first.
When i had a stomach upset my doctor was very particular about not self medicating. She told me to focus on fluids and ORS and only gave a medicine after seeing me. Please do the same, dont take it on your own.
For loose motions the first thing is hydration, ORS and light food, that handled it for me. Any tablet for it needs the doctors okay in pregnancy. Dont just buy it off the shelf.
