Can low blood pressure cause problems in pregnancy?
My BP stays on the lower side and I keep feeling dizzy, sometimes everything goes dark when I stand up. Im 14 weeks. Thoda scared if this can affect the baby. Anyone dealt with low BP in pregnancy?
Don't worry too much, low BP is quite common as your circulatory system expands. But you must be careful not to stand up too quickly, and please call your doctor if you feel very weak or dizzy. Make sure you are drinking enough fluids throughout the day.
Low BP is common in the first two trimesters, but it can cause fainting or dizzy spells which are risky if you fall. Don't ignore it—stay hydrated, eat small meals, and definitely consult your gynac if you are feeling lightheaded frequently.
Please be very careful because low BP can cause severe dizziness and fainting, which can be dangerous during pregnancy. You must check with your gynac to monitor your blood pressure regularly. Do not try to treat it at home without their advice.
Thoda low BP se kamzori aur chakkar aa sakte hain jo pregnancy me aam baat hai. Lekin agar aapko bohot zyada chakkar aayein, toh turant doctor ko dikhana chahiye. Apne khane me namak thoda theek rakho aur khoob pani piyo.
In our family, elders tell us to drink tender coconut water and salt-sugar water for low BP. It really helps, but I always trust my doctor first. If you are feeling dizzy or weak, please consult your gynac to ensure everything is safe.
Arre, low BP is basically your body's excuse to make you lie down and get pampered! But jokes apart, if you feel dizzy or faint, please don't take it lightly and check with your doctor. Keep some nimbu paani with salt handy always!
