My MIL keeps giving me ayurvedic stuff and today she mentioned mahasudarshan churan for some fever feeling i had. Im 3 months along and dont want to take anything without being sure. Did anyone here take it during pregnancy or check with their doctor first?
I wouldnt take any churan during pregnancy without asking the doctor first, even ayurvedic ones. I personally stopped all my old herbal stuff once I conceived just to be safe. Pls check with ur gynac.
Beta even though it is ayurvedic, in pregnancy we dont take these on our own. Some herbs are not advised in these months. Ask ur vaidya or doctor before taking anything like this.
Please dont start it without doctor saying yes. During my pregnancy I was told to avoid random churans and tonics because we dont know how they react. Better to confirm with ur gynac directly.
Ayurvedic doesnt automatically mean safe in pregnancy. The right thing is to ask either ur ayurvedic doctor who knows pregnancy or ur gynac before taking it. Dont take on ur own pls.
Honestly anything medicinal, even herbal, I would run by my doctor in pregnancy. I avoided self medicating completely. Show the churan name to ur gynac and let them decide, dont risk it na.
