Can male consume alcohol and have sex for pregnancy?
We are planning to conceive but my husband drinks socially on weekends. Im not sure if his drinking affects our chances or the baby. Bit awkward to ask doc directly so asking here, does it matter?
It's such an important question to ask, and it shows you care so much about doing everything right for your future baby. For the best chances and healthiest outcome, it's generally advised that men reduce or ideally avoid alcohol while trying to conceive. It really does make a difference.
I've been wondering about this too! My husband likes a drink sometimes, and I'm always thinking if it affects our chances. From what I've heard, it's usually recommended to cut back on alcohol when trying to conceive, as it can impact sperm quality.
Bhai, for the best chances of conception and a healthy baby, it’s advisable for men to significantly cut down or completely stop alcohol consumption when you’re trying. Alcohol can affect sperm quality, so it’s always better to be on the safer side. Give your body the best chance, okay?
Oh my god, this is one of those things that I obsessed about during our trying to conceive journey! There's so much info out there. I think moderation is key for alcohol, but for best chances, cutting back or stopping completely is often suggested. It's better to be safe than sorry, you know?
This is a really important question that impacts fertility. From what my doctor explained, heavy alcohol consumption can definitely affect sperm quality and count, making conception harder. It's always best to consult with a fertility specialist or your gynac for specific advice on male factors when trying to conceive, especially if there have been complications.
