Can mangalagauri puja be done during 9th month of pregnancy?
I usually observe Mangalagauri puja, and my 9th month of pregnancy is coming up. I'm wondering if it's appropriate or if there are any restrictions for performing puja during this stage.
I just had my baby last month, and I remember having a similar family puja in my 9th month. I didn't sit on the floor at all; my MIL made me sit on a comfortable sofa with cushions behind my back. It went smoothly because I didn't push myself too hard, so just take it easy.
Arey, in the 9th month of twin pregnancy, just sitting up on the bed felt like doing a whole parikrama! Mangalagauri puja is lovely, but standing and sitting repeatedly is impossible at this stage. Better to sit on a comfortable chair, do a quick prayer, and eat the prasad!
When it was my 9th month, I felt so emotional and wanted to seek blessings for my baby through every puja. But my body was so heavy and tired. I sat on a chair, did a small aarti, and honestly, I felt so peaceful just doing that much. Don't force yourself to do the whole long ritual.
Honestly, in the 9th month, your only puja should be to the god of AC and comfortable pillows! Jokes apart, you can absolutely do it but don't force yourself to sit on the ground for hours. Just do a short and sweet version sitting on a chair, Maa Parvati understands everything!
Beta, traditionally in the 9th month we avoid sitting for long hours on the floor for heavy pujas. It is not about any bad luck, but physically it strains your back and legs. You can just do a simple namaskar to Maa Mangalagauri from your sofa and let other family members handle the rituals. Take warm ginger water if you feel any fatigue.
Oho, puja means amazing prasad and modaks, right? You can definitely participate but please don't fast or stand in the kitchen for hours making those cravings-worthy sweets. Sit comfortably, enjoy the food, and let everyone else do the running around!
Please don't take any physical stress right now, especially when you are so close to the finish line. In the 9th month, even a small strain can cause discomfort, and after what I went through, I always advise keeping safety first. Do a very simple prayer from your bed or chair, God knows your heart is pure.
