My scan in first tri showed a small cyst on one ovary and gynac said she will just keep watching it. Im a bit tensed na, was hoping some tablet could just clear it off. Did anyone here had a cyst while pregnant, what did ur doctor do?
My gynac explained that most cysts in pregnancy are functional and shrink on their own by 2nd trimester. She said medicines arent really used to dissolve them during pregnancy because of the baby. They mostly just watch it. Ask your doc what type yours is.
Honestly this is one of those things where only your gynac can answer based on your scan reports. Pls dont go by what worked for someone else. Get her opinion on whether it even needs treatment now.
Try not to stress over this. A cyst sounds scary but very common in pregnancy and usually harmless. Let the doctor track the size, thats the safest route.

Both my pregnancies i had small cysts and they sorted themselves out without any tablet. Dont panic about it yaar. Just go for the scans they ask and follow up properly.
