Im getting some lower tummy cramps and out of habit i almost reached for meftal spas, but then stopped. Im in my second trimester now. Just want to know if its safe before i even think of taking it, will check with my doc also.
Meftal Spas is generally not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice. Also if you are having strong cramps or pain, that itself is a reason to talk to your doctor, not just self medicate. Please ring them up.
Please dont take Meftal Spas on your own in pregnancy. These painkiller type tablets are usually not advised, especially without doctor approval. Call your gynac and tell them about the pain, they will give something safe.
I get the pain can be bad, but this is not a safe one to take blindly during pregnancy. And if the cramps are severe, that needs checking anyway. Speak to your gynac first, always, for any tablet.
I cant advise on this one and honestly I would never take it without asking. When I had cramps my doctor told me which medicine was safe for me. Pls just call yours before taking anything like this.
