Can my hypothyroid effect my fetus during pregnancy?
Iv had thyroid for 3 years and im now 9 weeks pregnant. My TSH was slightly high last report and honestly its stressing me out thinking about the baby. Anyone here managed pregnancy with hypothyroid, how did it go?

I would really stress regular monitoring here, dont take it lightly. As long as you stay on top of your levels with your doctor, it is manageable. Please keep every appointment and get the tests done on time.
I had hypothyroid in both pregnancies and the key is keeping it well controlled with regular tests. My doctor adjusted my dose every few weeks and the babies were perfectly fine. Just dont skip your thyroid follow ups, that is the whole game.
My doctor explained uncontrolled thyroid can affect the baby's development, which is why they monitor TSH closely in pregnancy. With proper medication and regular checks the risk drops a lot. So the message is, take your meds and test on schedule.
