My dadi keeps saying an ayurvedic vaid can tell pregnancy just by nadi, before any test. Im curious haan but also not sure how reliable it is. has anyone here actually tried this?
Nadi pariksha is a traditional method, but honestly, you should not rely on it to confirm a pregnancy. For your baby's health and safety, a scientific urine or blood test is the only real way. If you are pregnant, getting proper medical care early is so important, especially to monitor things like sugar levels.
I have heard elder people talk about this, but I feel too shy to go to a traditional vaidya for it. Doing a simple home test in the privacy of your bathroom is much easier and gives a clear answer. Wish you all the best!
I would be too scared to trust nadi pariksha for something as important as pregnancy. What if it is wrong and you miss taking your essential vitamins or folic acid? Please do a proper medical test or a scan to be absolutely sure.
Beta, in our times, old experienced vaidyas could sometimes tell by reading the pulse, but today it is hard to find someone so skilled. It is better to use a home test kit nowadays to be safe. Keep eating fresh ghar ka khana and take care of your health.
Please do not rely on nadi pariksha. Having faced a loss before, I know how critical early medical confirmation and starting progesterone or vitamins can be. Please get a proper beta hCG blood test or ultrasound done under a doctor's guidance.
It is a beautiful ancient art, but I would suggest sticking to modern tests for confirmation. A simple home pregnancy test strip is very cheap and highly accurate. Once you get a positive, you can start planning your normal delivery journey with your gynac!
