Our first baby came through ivf after years of trying. Now people around me casually say that the second one can happen naturally on its own. Is that actually true or just a myth? would love to hear from anyone who experienced it.
My gynac said it can happen, especially in cases where the issue was unexplained or mild. If it was something like fully blocked tubes then natural may not be possible. So the answer really depends on the original cause, worth a proper chat with your doctor.
I was reading about this too because we may need IVF. It gave me hope to learn that natural pregnancy after IVF does happen for some. Each case is different i guess, so im planning to just ask our doctor directly.
Yes it absolutely can, my friend conceived naturally two years after her IVF baby and was shocked. It depends on why you needed IVF in the first place though. Dont assume you cant, but also dont stop any precaution without asking your doctor.
Haan it happens more than people think. IVF doesnt mean your body cant ever do it on its own. Whether it will depends on your specific reason for IVF, so the doctor is the right person to tell you your chances.
