Im around 6 weeks and the nausea is so bad that i barely eat anything most days. Feeling guilty that baby is not getting enough. Does skipping meals like this in the start affect anything? a bit worried honestly.
My mother kept reminding me to eat small portions even when I didnt feel like it. Skipping meals left me dizzy and tired. Keep simple things like curd rice, fruit, dry toast handy. And do follow your doctor's advice.
I get this, in early days I couldnt eat anything without feeling sick. But skipping food makes the nausea and weakness worse honestly. Try tiny bites often, even a biscuit or banana. If you cant keep anything down for long, tell your gynac.
Not eating at all isnt good for you or the baby, you need the energy and nutrients. Doesnt have to be big meals, small frequent ones work in early pregnancy. Dont starve yourself.
I worried about this so much in first trimester when I barely ate. Did others feel the same? My doc said baby takes what it needs but I should still try to eat little little. So I kept dry snacks near my bed.
Please dont keep skipping food. If you really cant eat or are vomiting everything out, that needs a doctor, it can lead to weakness and dehydration. I learnt to take it seriously. Get checked if it's bad.
