Can olive oil prevent stretch marks during pregnancy?
My belly is growing fast now in 5th month and im worried about stretch marks. My friend swears by olive oil. Does it actually help? anyone tried it and seen results?
Betiyan, hamare ghar mein toh sab tel malish karte the. Olive oil bhi achha hai, ya sarso ka tel bhi laga sakte ho. Yeh skin ko naram rakhta hai aur khujli kam karta hai. Stretch marks toh sharir ke hisaab se aate hain, par tel lagane se thoda farak padta hai aur achha lagta hai.
Olive oil? Haha, main toh use khaane mein daal ke kha rahi thi, socha shayad andar se skin improve ho jaaye! But for actual stretch marks on the skin, I think it's mostly about keeping your skin super moisturized. While it might not prevent them completely, it certainly makes your skin feel nice and soft. Maybe try some with your salads too for extra glow!
I remember obsessing over stretch marks during my pregnancy, trying every oil imaginable, including olive oil. While it feels lovely and moisturizing, the truth is, a lot of it comes down to genetics and how your skin elasticity is. Don't stress too much if they appear, they are battle scars of bringing a beautiful life into the world. You're doing amazing, mama.
So, I actually researched this a lot through my pregnancy apps! While olive oil is great for moisturizing, sadly, there isn't much scientific evidence that it *prevents* stretch marks. They're mostly genetic, yaar. But keeping your skin hydrated with any oil or cream can help with the itching and keep it supple. I used a mix of oils, more for comfort.
Ugh, stretch marks! I'm in my third trimester, and honestly, my tummy looks like a road map. I've tried everything – olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, even some fancy creams. If olive oil worked, I'd probably be bathing in it! It feels nice and helps with the itchiness, but for prevention? My vote is mostly genetics. Just embrace the tiger stripes, ladies!
