Can one do sex in grade 0 placeta during pregnancy?
My scan report mentioned grade 0 placenta and honestly im not sure what restrictions apply. Thoda hesitant to ask gynac directly so asking here. Is it safe in this case?
I had a history of PCOS so I was always extra careful. Grade 0 placenta is perfectly fine, but before you proceed, make sure there is no low-lying placenta or spotting. It’s always best to ask your gynac once just to be 100% sure and avoid any unnecessary worry.
Intimacy is safe with a grade 0 placenta unless your gynac has advised otherwise due to bleeding or placenta location. Just listen to your body and go very gently. If you feel any mild cramping, just rest up and take it easy.
Grade 0 maturity is very normal in early pregnancy. But what really matters is the placenta's position—if it is low-lying, your doctor might put you on pelvic rest. Always get it cleared in your regular ultrasound or ask your gynac to save you any extra emergency hospital fees if spotting occurs.
Grade 0 just means the placenta is young and healthy, so sex is safe as long as your doctor hasn't given you pelvic rest. To save time, just ask your gynac during your next quick routine checkup if you have any restrictions, and you're good to go.
In an uncomplicated pregnancy with a normal grade 0 placenta, intimacy is usually considered quite safe. But because every pregnancy journey is unique, especially if you had any prior issues, please check with your doctor first. Your peace of mind is the most important thing right now.
