I used to walk every evening before and now im not sure if i should continue in pregnancy. Dont want to overdo it or harm anything. Is regular walking okay or should i slow down? pls share.
Yes and it fits easily into a busy day, even short walks after meals count. I used to do a few rounds in the evening after work, kept me active without needing gym time. Listen to your body though, on tired days a shorter slow walk is totally fine.
Yes beta, a gentle daily walk is one of the nicest things you can do for yourself and baby. Keep it slow and pleasant, no rushing, and rest the moment you feel tired. If anything feels off while walking, sit down and call your doctor.
For most pregnancies walking is great, but in my case doctor restricted activity for some weeks due to my condition. So please confirm with your gynac first, especially if you have any risk or history. Once cleared, gentle walking is wonderful.
Haan na walking is so good, light waala roz thoda karo. Mujhe toh fresh feel hota tha aur digestion bhi better hua. Bas dhoop mein zyada mat chalo and water saath rakho, ho na.
Walking is honestly the best and safest exercise in pregnancy if your doctor has cleared you. I did 20-30 min easy walks daily and it helped with energy, sleep and swelling. Just comfy shoes, no overexertion, and stop if you feel breathless or any pain.
