Just entered my 6th week and suddenly these painful boils have popped up on my chin and cheek. My skin was always clear before this. Is this a hormone thing in early pregnancy, did anyone else go through this?
Hormonal breakouts are normal in early days. I just washed with a mild face wash and didnt overdo products. But if a boil is big, painful, hot or spreading, please show your doctor, dont treat that yourself.
Very common, hormones make the skin act up. Keep it simple, gentle cleanser, dont pick at them, dont try new strong creams now. Most of it settles on its own.
Yes ma, skin changes a lot early on, my face had little eruptions too. Family said it's normal hormone stuff and it passed. Just keep skin clean and dont use harsh things, and ask doc before any acne medicine.
Oh yes, my face broke out badly in the first months and I felt so low about it. It was the hormones doing their thing. It calmed down by second trimester for me, hang in there.
