I had to do a normal abdomen ultrasound for some stomach pain, not a pregnancy scan. Now im wondering if the doctor would even notice a pregnancy in that kind of scan? thoda confused about how it works.
Haan it shows up. Early weeks they may do the transvaginal one because abdomen scan cant see tiny pregnancy properly. Once you cross few weeks abdomen scan is enough.
Yes a normal abdomen ultrasound can pick up a pregnancy once its far enough along, my doc told me early on they sometimes use the internal scan as its clearer. So it depends how many weeks you are. Either way the report will mention it.
