Can one month pregnancy be detected in ultrasound?
Test came positive and im roughly one month along. MIL keeps saying go for scan but i feel itni jaldi kuch dikhega bhi? Did anyone get a clear scan this early na?
I am also trying to conceive and from what I have read, one month is a bit too early for scan. Maybe you can do a home urine test first to be sure? It's better to wait a little before going for an ultrasound so you can see the baby properly.
Haha, at one month, the baby is literally the size of a poppy seed! An ultrasound won't show much right now except maybe a tiny dot. Better wait for a couple of weeks, otherwise, u will just pay the clinic to see a blank screen!
Usually, doctors wait till 6-8 weeks for the first ultrasound because at 4 weeks, things are too small. Don't worry if they don't see anything yet, it's just very early. Just stay positive, eat healthy, and go when your doctor advises.
At 4 weeks, it's actually very early to see anything clearly on an ultrasound, maybe just a tiny sac. Gynacs usually prefer waiting till 6 or 7 weeks to check for the heartbeat. Better to do a blood beta-hCG test first to confirm.
