Namaste, Ganesh Chaturthi is coming up and I usually perform Ganesh Puja with great devotion. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm wondering if it's safe and allowed to perform Ganesh Puja during pregnancy. Are there any specific traditions to follow?
I was actually wondering about this too because my family is very traditional! Good to know we can do it. I guess as long as we don't bend too much or lift heavy things, Bappa's blessings are always good for us.
Haan na, we can totally do puja, God never says no to a pregnant woman. Just ask someone else to do the heavy cleaning and decoration. Aap bas aaram se baithke prasad khao and enjoy.
Yes, absolutely you can do Ganesh puja, there is no harm at all. Just make sure you don't stand for too long during the aarti and sit comfortably on a chair or sofa. Bappa will only bless you and the baby, so do it with a happy mind.
It is totally fine to do puja, but keep it simple so you don't exhaust yourself and end up needing extra doctor visits or expensive IV fluids for dehydration. Save your energy and money for upcoming hospital delivery costs and tests, simple ghar ki puja is best.
Oh of course you can do it, why not! Don't stress too much about old superstitions, just don't lift heavy prasad boxes or do heavy work. Wear comfortable clothes and enjoy the festive vibes, dear.
Sure you can do puja, but treat it as a gentle activity and don't exert. I only do light walking and doctor-approved yoga nowadays, so even for puja I sit down and do my chanting. Listen to your body and don't push yourself.
There is no medical or scientific reason to avoid Ganesh puja. Just make sure the room is well-ventilated if you are lighting agarbatti or dhoop, as strong smells can trigger nausea. If you feel dizzy at any point, sit down immediately.
