My nose is blocked badly at night and Otrivin is the only spray I used before pregnancy. Now I am 12 weeks and scared to use it without asking. Did your doctor allow any nasal spray?
Dont self use that spray yaar, decongestant sprays are usually something doctors are careful about in pregnancy. For my blocked nose, steam inhalation and plain saline drops worked. Quick call to your doctor before any spray.
I would not use a medicated nasal spray in pregnancy without my doctor's clear ok, since some are not recommended. Saline drops, steam and a humidifier are the safe go to first. Run it past your gynac before anything stronger.
I had terrible blocked nose in pregnancy and honestly I did not use any nasal spray on my own, I asked my doctor first. She suggested saline drops and steam instead for me. Please dont use otrivin without your gynac saying yes, these sprays arent always advised.
Pregnancy nose block is so annoying, I had it too. I used steam and a saline water spray which doctor allowed. For otrivin type sprays please ask your doctor, dont take a chance on your own.
