I have a small cyst since last year and now im trying to conceive. Got me thinking can it mess up the test or scan results somehow. Anyone with cyst experience pls share.
I have cyst history and got pregnant fine, cyst doesnt really hide a pregnancy. Sometimes scan timing matters, so if ur test is positive but scan unclear, just repeat after a week as doc says.
During my journey i had cysts come and go and the doctors always tracked both with scans. So dont assume it hides anything, just go get checked and ask them to explain ur reports gently.
Cyst wont stop a urine test from showing positive, hormones still rise. It can make the scan a bit confusing early on, thats all. Let the gynac sort it out properly.
Honestly this is something only ur doctor and scan can clear up. A cyst and pregnancy can both be present together. Pls go for the ultrasound she advises instead of guessing.
