My early scan showed a small cyst on one ovary and the doctor said its probably nothing but im naturally worried na. Has anyone had a cyst during pregnancy? did it cause any problems or just go on its own?
I had a cyst detected during pregnancy and honestly most are harmless and go away on their own, but they kept monitoring it with scans. Pls let ur doctor track urs, dont assume the worst.
With my PCOS background I had cysts and was worried too. Mine stayed fine and the doctor just monitored. Every case differs though, so I wouldnt guess, let ur doctor guide u properly.
Depends on the size and type really. Often they are not a problem and just observed during scans. Your doctor is the right person to tell if yours needs any attention.
My gynac said many cysts in pregnancy are simple and resolve by themselves, only some types need watching or rarely action. She did follow up scans to keep an eye. Ask urs about the type and size of yours.
Try not to scare urself reading too much online. Most cysts are watched and stay okay. But haan, if u get sudden sharp pain on one side, go to the doctor quickly to be safe.
