Can ovulation happen after pregnancy?

I delivered around 3 months back and ebf my baby. Trying to understand when my body starts ovulating again coz we want to be careful. mommas pls share how it went for u postpartum.

Full breastfeeding delayed mine for some months, but it is not a guaranteed method honestly. Ovulation can sneak back quietly before your period. I spoke to my doctor about safe options since I was nursing, would suggest the same to you.

I delivered recently and my doctor warned me ovulation can return early, especially if not exclusively nursing. It surprised me how soon things normalise. So dont assume you are safe just because periods havent come, ask the gynac.

Yes, ovulation comes back after delivery, sometimes even before your first period returns. That is why people get pregnant again sooner than they expect. If you are not planning another baby soon, talk to your gynac about contraception, even while breastfeeding.
