We are trying since few months and i still have some ovulation strips lying around. Out of curiosity, can those actually pick up pregnancy or its totally different thing? Thoda confused honestly.
Arre, I wish it did! Managing twins now is crazy, but back then even I was searching for shortcuts during the wait. Honestly, an ovulation study just tracks when your egg is ready, it has no clue if fertilisation happened. Keep some patience, wait for the missed period and do the standard home kit test!
Suno beta, ovulation study toh sirf ye dekhne ke liye hoti hai ki egg sahi se ban raha hai ya nahi. Isse early pregnancy nahi pata chalti. Thoda sabar rakho aur date miss hone ka wait karo. Tab tak dhyan rakho apna, bhari saman mat uthana aur koshish karo warm milk ya suth/haldi ka paani thoda pine ki.
Ghar pe even my saas thought that since doctor is doing scans, we will get to know about pregnancy immediately! But actually, ovulation study is only to time the relation and see follicle growth. Mom told me to just keep calm and wait for the actual period date for a home test. So don't rush it, relax!
Having gone through IVF, I completely understand how painful this waiting game is and how we search for any small sign. But a follicular or ovulation study only shows if the egg has ruptured, it cannot confirm pregnancy. For that, you really need to wait and do a beta hCG blood test or a home UPT. Sending you a big hug and lots of positive vibes.
Oh god, this waiting phase is so tough, I remember how anxious I used to get and even my nausea would get worse with stress. Actually, an ovulation study only helps you know if and when you ovulated, it cannot detect early pregnancy. You'll have to wait till your missed period and do a simple urine test. Stay strong, dear!
While breastfeeding my baby, I often think about how anxious I was during the conceiving phase. Based on my experience, ovulation monitoring is only to find your best days to try. It can't detect a pregnancy at all because that needs the hCG hormone to build up. Just wait for your missed period date to take a proper test, okay?
