Can panadol be used for headache during pregnancy?
Getting bad headaches these days, im in first trimester. Used to take panadol before pregnancy for this. Not sure if its safe now so i dont want to just pop it. Anyone whose doc allowed it?
No, beta, don't just take anything without asking your doctor. Especially during pregnancy, every medicine needs your gynac's approval. Pick up the phone and call them, it's better than taking risks.
For headaches, sometimes a cold compress or a cup of ginger tea helps. But if it's really bothering you, or if you want to take Panadol, you must confirm with your gynac first. Better safe than sorry, especially with any medication.
Absolutely do not take any medication without asking your doctor. Even common pain relievers can have effects. I had a difficult pregnancy and my doctor was very strict about all medicines. Just give your gynac a call to be safe.
Oh god, I get so many headaches too! It's so annoying. My friend said Panadol is generally okay, but I'm still nervous to take anything without asking my doctor. Did your gynac suggest it?
I remember those pregnancy headaches! They were quite frequent for me. My doctor did say paracetamol (which is in Panadol) was generally safe for occasional use, but please confirm with your own doctor first. Every pregnancy is unique.
Headaches are the worst! I always feel so unsure about taking medicines, even common ones. I usually try to rest or drink water first. But for Panadol, I would definitely check with my doctor before taking it. Has anyone else asked their doctor about this?
