Can paraovarian cyst cause positive pregnancy test?

My scan showed a paraovarian cyst and my home test was positive but im not fully sure if im actually pregnant. Now im a little tense whether the cyst is messing with the result. Has anyone gone through this?

Honestly, my brain is too fried from keeping up with my baby to know the science! But pregnancy tests check hCG, so a cyst shouldn't ideally cause a positive. Better ask your doc before u lose sleep like me!
